With digital transformation impacting 90% of the industries the need for Digital quality assurance and test strategies has become very essential. Faster response time with improved service excellence has been the key focus of quality assurance and testing teams. As most of the industries rely on online sales/ social media/ data analysis, digital QA needs to bring faster and reliable test practices to enable seamless performance across multiple platforms/ devices, round the clock. Digital transformation in quality assurance refers to predictive and repeatable product analysis and testing that supports faster test time and replaces manual test effort. As much as remote and automation testing has become the way of life in the recent times, we have also seen challenges in completely removing manual testing. We must keep in mind that manual testers bring in a separate value add to testing and product quality that many tools may not be able to do. In order to keep up with all these digital transformations and also maintain product quality, every quality assurance team must keep in mind to include a combination of both manual and automation testing (including devops and cloud testing) that focuses mainly on instant customer validation and aligns well with the agile test methodology.
