Declarative testing can dramatically simplify the development of modern RESTful web services by providing rich functional test-coverage in a fraction of the time it would take to build out data-driven unit tests. ACT.Framework is an open source application development framework called (http://www.actframework.org/ ) and is the first application framework to implement the declarative testing methodology. In this session, we introduce the concept of declarative testing and demonstrate the concept with many practical examples.
