Digital twins and intelligent machines are fast replacing traditional systems, especially in manufacturing and distribution warehouses. Transformer-type intelligent industrial robots that can shape-change as per the task. A web of smart and autonomous elevators, conveyors, sorters, loaders, and other equipment that can move truckloads in seconds. A space is as large as a few city blocks are layered in the mesh of lasers, reflectors, and RFID signals where robots are at work and play and humans are restricted to safety zones. Chronicling the learnings and lessons from testing this complex playground and achieving a successful readiness and go live.
Takeaways from the talk:
- Understanding the complexity of today’s intelligent warehouse and how digital twin technologies can help with simulation and emulation testing. The SHARD acceptance testing technique – An appreciation of risks, processes, frameworks, and approaches for acceptance testing of SHARD – Software- Humans-Automation-Robots and Devices
