Over the years the increased importance of Automation as a test technique has become more important in the test lifecycle for both progression and regression testing.
I would like to present from a management perspective and to provide understanding why automation might be removed or reduced due to the lack of value and return of investment.
Automation resources have the technical know-how on scripting, technical assessment and delivery, but always miss the mark on added value, frameworks, scalability and risk management to organisations.
I want to discuss throughout stages through the lifecycle on certain points to ensure you provide value to client or employees through communications and to articulate both from technical and business view point.
I hope to provoke a different mindset and thought process from this to help benefit the overall automation community through providing a different lens to the discussion.
