In Agile Delivery, it’s important to have an efficient way to ensure the fully traceability from requirements all the way to test evidence, sign-off and roll-out. To reduce manual documentations, we could manage the traceability of both functional and non-functional requirements & tests by leveraging CI/CD pipeline and integrated tools such as confluence, jira, bitbucket, Jenkins, etc. The traceability starts from requirements, boil down to stories, related code changes and review history, release branching, deployment, test execution, test evidence, test signoff. I will show case the traceability management via a sample project.
