By using events as a means of communication between microservices in an asynchronous way, EDA makes building highly scalable, loosely coupled, and fault-tolerant enterprise applications easy. Even though EDA offers many benefits, its performance and scalability must be ensured under different scenarios. The asynchronous and distributed nature of event-driven architecture (EDA) makes performance testing challenging.

We will explore the challenges testers may encounter and outline best practices for conducting effective performance testing in an event-driven architecture.
