In this session, Melissa will present her QE department structure and how the model was built to address the challenges occurring at the company at the time. From those challenges, there was a need to build the framework and scale it more than six-fold within nine months and since then, repeat that model over the last five+ years in over a dozen companies. We will discuss what a world-class QE organization looks like, operates, and how the right framework and model promotes creativity. We will also discuss and deep-dive in to main components of the operations – including hiring, career development, and process improvement.
