Test Automation in SDLC has demonstrated its benefits over the years by delivering quality products with an increased test execution speed. A number of organizations have already invested in tools, developed strategies, and test scripts. However, we are witnessing wider acceptance of Agile methodologies in the SDLC. This drift from traditional Waterfall methodologies to Agile presents its challenges. Understanding these challenges and coming up with strategies would help the newly formed Agile teams in streamlining their practices and adapt automation within their new Agile environments.
