There’s a quiet revolution in APIs right now. Most software teams are starting to use OpenAPI / Swagger API specifications to determine and communicate what their APIs look like. As testers, we know that half the battle of API testing is knowing what to test. The other half is communicating and getting those results back to the stakeholders that need it as fast as possible. What is an OpenAPI specification? What tools are out there to leverage these OpenAPI specifications? How can I take advantage of this huge revolution in API specifications to make my testing more collaborative, more efficient and self-serve?
