It helps to determine the status quo of the organization from a top-down and bottom-up perspective. Since every team, company or project is unique the assessment will provide both a business and a cultural analysis in order to understand the best approach for introducing Agile in your organization.
Transitioning to agile, like any major change, requires a clear strategy. The strategy is needed to set the guidelines on how to support the teams as they adopt new working practices like Scrum, as well as informing and supporting the rest of the organization which will be inevitably affected by them. It is important to understand that once the transition to agile starts, it will never stop again as there is no “ideal” end state; agility is centered on continuous improvement rather than a single end state.
We create a a strategy map which helps to deﬁnine possible short-, mid- and long-term improvements. It brings together the insights gathered during the assessment and aligns them to the overall business goals.
