This includes widely used protocols like RSA and ECC, prompting the development of quantum-safe cryptographic algorithms such as lattice-based cryptography and quantum key distribution. Furthermore, quantum computing enables new forms of attacks like Shor's and Grover's algorithms, necessitating the exploration of post-quantum cryptography solutions.

Despite the challenges, investing in research and development is crucial to ensuring the security of critical systems and data amidst this transformative technology.
