RAPID ROI USING PLAYWRIGHT FOR TESTING A LARGE AND COMPLEX D365-CENTRIC ERP SOLUTION
Automating testing for a complex ERP solution like D365, with numerous integrations and frequent version updates, was imperative. Upgrading alone demanded extensive regression testing, which, with over 400 tests, was unsustainable. We opted for automation to streamline this process. After careful evaluation, we settled on Playwright, considering factors like implementation costs and ease of maintenance. A 6-month journey saw us exceed our target, automating 140 tests. This move proved fruitful, significantly reducing testing cycles and associated costs. With a stable backlog and a proficient automation team, Playwright continues to provide a rapid return on investment, ensuring our ERP solution remains robust and efficient.

JOY OF SOFTWARE TESTING - MOVING TO AUTOMATION FIRST AND CONTINUOUS TESTING MINDSET
At Spark we wanted to move to an Automation First Continuous Testing, we developed a roadmap, tooling, training to do this, getting not only executive and board buy in to the what and why but we also took all our people on the journey. Moving from the Testing Ice-Cream methodology to the testing Pyramid. From tool selection, to training, then supercharging our automation path forward journey, this talk will go through the journey we took to get there.

BEYOND CHATBOTS, UNLEASHING THE POWER OF CHATBOTS, CONVERSATIONAL AI AND POSTBOT
In this dynamic and insightful presentation, we will embark on a journey to explore the capabilities of chatbots, conversational AI, and Postbot . The talk will commence by delving into the evolution and classification of chatbots. Drawing on real-time examples, the discussion will highlight the functionalities of prominent chatbots such as Amazon Q with Code Whisperer, Gen AI Chatbot from Amazon. Emphasis will be placed on showcasing the potential of Code Whisperer for development and testing. A pivotal focus on the talk will be on Postbot, Postman's AI Assistant integrated within the Postman ecosystem, offers a versatile solution for automating repetitive tasks involved in API testing. We will cover the following areas in the Demo • Documentation – how to write documentation on request level • Generate Tests – how to generate common tests • Generate Specialized tests – generate a simple security test • Fix Tests – fix any broken tests • Visualize responses – visualize responses • Autocomplete for FQL – leverage Postbot in autocomplete in FQL.

LEAN EXPERIMENTATION IN TESTING (MEASURING THE IMPACT OF TESTING LEADING VS LAGGING)
As an automation tester, I found it challenging to demonstrate the value of automated testing and its direct impact on customer outcomes. The common perception is that more time is spent running or troubleshooting tests than gaining benefits. Instead of just building tests, I approached automation as an assumption needing validation. My topic focuses on "testing the testing" by setting clear OKRs and using lean experimentation to validate or refute assumptions about automation testing, considering the complexities of the company, people, and environments. This method helped set the right expectations and prove the true value of automated testing..
