Marisa Jansen van Vuuren is a strategic global brand leader with fourteen years’ experience in building marketing, brand and sponsorship programmes. In her role at Dimension Data, Marisa drives the company’s group brand strategy, and manages a global brand team responsible for increasing brand value across the group’s portfolio of brands. Over the last four years, Marisa and her team have won six global marketing and sports industry awards for their work on the Tour de France and Connected Conservation – a joint initiative with Cisco, aimed at reducing the number of rhinos being poached in South Africa. Marisa is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. In her spare time, she enjoys non-digital pursuits like working with her hands, creating silkscreen prints and spending time with her husband and two young boys.
