Mitchell Pham is a technology entrepreneur and industry leader in New Zealand and Asia. He is a director of Augen Software Group and Kiwi Connection Tech Hub, chairman of NZTech and FinTechNZ, co-founder of NZ Software Association, NZ Health IT Association, InsurTechNZ and Global InsurTech Alliance.
Mitchell has 25 years of experience in technology innovation across many industry sectors, including Banking, Insurance, Finance, Healthcare, Social Services, Transport & Logistics, Professional Services and Digital Businesses. He has been involved in many waves of new innovation and emerging technologies, of which Blockchain is one of the latest.
Mitchell sees Blockchain as the most transformative in nature and exponential in impact, and is actively involved as a co-founder and advisor of emerging blockchain projects and businesses. He is also an active speaker at international conferences to promote awareness and use of blockchain technology in solving real-world problems that have enterprise-wide, industry-wide, economy-wide or society-wide impacts.
Mitchell has been honored as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and an Asia 21 Fellow by the Asia Society. In June 2018, he received the prestigious World Class New Zealand award for his contribution to the technology industry and NZ-Asia relations.
